Dealers
The Amp House
I met Chris Staton at Summer NAMM 2018. He walked up, introduced himself, and the conversation quickly turned to amps (who knew?). He’d heard some buzz about the Down Brownie and asked me if I had considered working with a dealer. We agreed to try it on a couple of amps and see how things went. Well, that was a quite a few amps ago. It’s been a real pleasure working with Chris. Proud to have The Amp House as our first dealer!
LA Vintage Gear
I first heard of Clif Jones’ shop after seeing it profiled on the Tim Pierce Guitar YouTube channel. After visiting their website, I thought they might be a good fit for a SoCal dealer. After visiting with Clif on the phone, we agreed I’d drop in while I was down to see the Rolling Stones, which was only a couple of weeks away. Clif took us on and we’ve been trying to keep up ever since! This is one seriously cool shop; lots a high-end boutique gear that you don’t see in the wild everyday. If you’re in the LA area, be sure to stop by and say hi to Clif and the LAVG gang.
Relic Music
Not long ago, Relic Music proprietor Mike Nicosia gave me a call to let me know about his new shop in Red Bank, NJ. Turns out his friend and mine, long-time Down Brownie owner Rick, suggested he consider Cutthroat as an amp line for the shop. After a couple of calls, we agreed that this sounded like an excellent fit and are happy to have them on board as our newest dealer. Next time you’re in the greater NYC area, consider making the short trek south to Red Bank and check out Relic!
